Aravindhassery
The Aravindhassery sub-branch of the Nedumchira family traces its origins to the late Thoma Aravindhassery, who was the eldest son of Uthup Nedumchira. Thoma Aravindhassery resided in a house called Aravindhassery, and his descendants were known as the Aravindhassery branch of the Nedumchira family.

Thoma Aravindhassery had three sons and three daughters. The eldest son, the late Thomas Thomas, had two sons. The second son, the late N.T. Mathew had three sons, and the youngest son, Joseph, was a brother at the Brothers of Gabriel.
Pennu, the eldest daughter of Thoma, was married to Thomas of the Thyckattu family in Thiruvanvandoor. Sosamma, the second daughter, was married to Pothachan of the Puthuveettil family in Veliyanadu. The youngest daughter, Rev. Sr. Ephrem, became a nun at the Visitation Convent.
